Michael S. Takiff, Esq. concentrates on First Party Plaintiff practice as a Senior Attorney and Trial Resource Counsel. Mr. Takiff’s background includes practice in numerous areas of Criminal and Civil Defense practice, handling matters from civil writs of attachment on property to Firearm and Murder cases. Mr. Takiff’s emphasis has always been on trial work and litigation.
Prior to joining Levy & Partners, PLLC, Michael served as Trial Counsel and Senior Attorney for the acclaimed firm of Militzok & Levy, PLLC – successfully taking trial cases as varied as Complex Civil Litigation and Medical Malpractice. Additionally, Michael served as the Managing Attorney for a nationwide Civil Defense firm in Ft. Lauderdale overseeing the litigation of 20 attorneys and staff with the combined practice of Property Defense, PIP Defense, and General Liability Defense.

Michael has also been the litigation supervisor and assistant chief counsel for the recently created State Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, supervising offices in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties. Michael’s practice spans over 20 years and he has argued and tried cases all throughout Florida in State Court as well as Federal Bankruptcy courts in addition to being requested as special counsel in various other jurisdictions.
